03:11 am: my first and very last experience dancing.
Photobucket

Photobucket
The malay dance girls. i swear we did so well in the end tho it was totally last minute. ;D
it will never be possible without the help from the lady above, Winah.
She's always so polite and patience tho we danced like clowns at times.
She offered to help despite of being unwell throughout the whole trip.
if i were you, i dont bother helping and stay calm all the time.
i guess age and experience do play an important role.

And i bet people will still get our name mixed up and it's going to be often now since
we'll be in the same lecture group for year 3 (i think).

so i'm all packed and ready to head home for now!
Adios MANIPAL, Adios INDIA!!!!!

Already 2 weeks here, tho i missed home, i wished i could stay here
longer (minus the fact that i have to eat chickens everyday, YUCKS!).
i cannot imagine myself packing for Singapore this thursday.
i cannot imagine myself leaving the hostel.
i cannot imagine myself saying goodbye to new found friends here.
but still, there's no other better place than home.
Skype-ed with the family last night, and i wished i were there with them.
i hope home still looks the same when i come back this sat.

so, picture were taken when we make our own hatching chicks.
we did nothing here but handicrafts, painting in Manipal these few days.
(other than going to NURM lectures and tutorials of course!)
others were picture taken from mentally disabled childrens' school.
i always love & enjoy home visits like this. started doing this since i joined Red Cross in secondary Sch.
remember Bishan Home, Thong Kheng Blue Cross home (we're regulars there btw)??
i always thought i could never do this kinda work ever again after i left the Red Cross.
But joining Nursing allows me to continue meeting people
who are not as fortunate as us and also to meet people from all walks of life.
i'm glad i took this path tho sometimes i questioned myself whether this is what i really
want to be. well, let nature takes its course. i dont know what the future holds for me.
i could only pray for the best. that's all.

As all of you would have know, it's burning hot here in India but at least we
experienced the rain here for one day. look at the dark clouds on the last picture above.
we were so excited like we've never see rain before. ;D

i could only say, this is the experience i will never forget.
and, i can't wait to go home!

Life is great here in India, just trying to adjust to the burning hot weather here
and the food and of course our hostel.
not much shopping done yet try to save the money for up to 3 weeks.

made lots of new friends from india. they're damn smart and humble people.
i guess culture does make a difference. i dont know if they can really
tolerate our nonsense. but heck, i can see they are enjoying themselves during class
with all of us. did Mehandi (Henna) during one of the classes by the local students.
since it's free i decided to 'tattoo' my hands like crazy and now i think too much of it looks
kinda ugly but glad it'll only last for a week.

it's 1148pm here in manipal. there's no class tmr but sightseeing. and bummer,
lecture and tutorial on a Sunday. can u believe it??
whattodo, i sign up for this, so, dont complain.

need to hit the pillows soon. hope you guys enjoys some snippets of photos
from my camera. i must tell you these place is so beautiful for photography. i dont mean
that this place is the cleanest it's just different from what we have in Singapore.
from the people to the environment to the food. it's so different.
edited so much more than this but photobucket dont seems
to be so nice to me these days. must be the hot weather.

till then, c u soon :)
counting down the days, 15 more days till i step on Singapore land again.
i cant wait! >.<

12:07 am: A walk to remember & colours on me
Photobucket
Reading Nicholas Sparks' 'A Walk to Remember' make me have sleepless night.
though i know the ending i still feel it's worth my tears to cry
all over again reading the book. i must say that the book's version
is sweeter than the movie.
Never was a book person, but this is different. borrowed the book yesterday
and finish reading it today. so are there anymore good Nicholas Sparks' book, Nurul??

So, my sister have nothing better to do that she splash colours on me.
being the good sister, i listen to whatever she say. she wanted to turn me to
an evil witch but i wanted to be a vampire instead.
the end product, i think i still look like a witch but Za and Ju said i looked
like Ba instead.

Good news, I'm going Bangkok again! wonder will i ever meet my BKK crush.
If fated, we'll meet at Chatuchak again! woopeeeee!

It wasn't that long, and it certainly wasn't the kind of
kiss you see in movies these days, but it was
wonderful in it's own way, and all I can remember
about the moment is that when our lips first touched,
I knew the memory would last forever.
